Small Changes: it's the little things we do that change our lives or potentially could. It's as simple as switching from whole milk to 2%, waking up at 8 am instead of 8:30. Or, breaking a bad habit even if for one day (hey it's a start).
Every morning, think of one small change you could do to improve the quality of your life.
- 1 less cigarette a
day, in my case, one less coffee.
- 1 less drink--and you may not have that headache in the morning
- 1 less cigarette--saves you () of your life
- 1 walk up a flight of stairs instead of using the elevator--you could lose () lbs
- 1 less comment or word in--and you just might save your pride
- 1 more $1.00 saved at lunch--and you have a $1 more towards your future
- 1 more hour to get all your work done
- 1 more smile at a stranger--could make someone's day
- 1 more apple a day--could in fact--keep the doctor away
Many of us live our lives feeling “stuck.” We feel we are “stuck” in our job, in our relationships, in possibly a financial strain that just shows no sign of getting better. We, day by day, go through the monotous routine. But there's a challenge facing all of us. A challenge for “small changes.”
A new way of living, and it's something we must find within ourselves. I would challenge you to make one small change a day and see the impact, however slight, it is in your life. Maybe, after all, it is not your life that you are always going to change. But, those that see the change in you.
