Sometimes it seems so hard to be committed and follow through with the things we say we are committed on doing. Why is that? Human nature?
Maybe we all get a little lazy and a bit too comfortable. We are all creatures of habit. If we only could, have or be. Well, can't we? What are our daily actions? Not just actions but inspired actions. Remember Joe Vitale's words in the movie "The Secret”? Maybe we do believe that everything should be easy and effortless and maybe it really is that easy and we just like to make things more complicated?
Are we really in the flow of things or trying to force things? For most of us, things just get more confusing and complicated. The longer we stay in that place, feeling stuck, and the harder things become. We become paralyzed and immobilized. It's like an old car that you're tired of driving, no gas in the tank and what's an oil change?
I know from my own experience, when I really set my mind on something I truly want, I get it.
I escaped East Germany before the wall came down, I was scared as hell and before I knew it; I was in the West German embassy ready to be set free, I packed my bags and moved to NYC. I didn't know where to stay or how to earn a living, the people and opportunities appeared , I booked a show in New Orleans when I lived in NYC when I didn't even have a band, the musicians showed up, I moved to California and left two band members behind, I rebuild my band. I have plenty of more stories like this.
Today I'm setting here, not to happy with where I'm at and what I have. Being a big believer in the Law of Attraction I know I have to focus on what I want, not what I currently have or don't want.
So why am I where I'm at? I have Intentions. I even read them sometimes and get in the feeling place of it, when I find the time. -wow, what did I just say? When I find the time? What's going on here? I don't have 10 minutes to focus on a life I truly desire? How bad do I want it? Bad! And there lies the problem.
I've gotten so frustrated focusing on all the things that I don't have, I'm overriding my great Intentions by bathing myself in fear. I've been operating from a very negative state of mind. From the outside I would say that this not true, I will tell you that I am a fun and uplifting person, however, my results speak for themselves.
Even though we have Intentions, they are not powerful when we come from a place of fear and lack. All the things I've done with pure Intention were scary at first but I set my mind to it. And nothing or no-one could change that.
So if you are in a similar situation, know that you can change it right here right now.
Let the past be the past. Yes, that includes 5 minutes ago. Hit erase and start fresh!
I want you to read this until you fully understand it.
100% Intentions; 0% Mechanism.

If someone in your family across the ocean needed your help, you would find a way within hours of flying out there and helping. If someone was about to drown in a lake, you'd come to the rescue even if you didn't know how to swim.
If there's something you know you really want, believe that you can have it and commit to getting it. How? Have a sense of urgency! How bad do you want it? If you say "well, it would be nice", forget it, you don't want it bad enough. What sets you on fire? What's the one thing you can't do without? We let our passion die and become zombies because we get caught up in the current circumstances and keep dwelling on it. We think about how hard it is to get there instead of how great it's going to be when we are there.
When you take a trip across the country, going from LA to NY, of course you are anxious to get to NY, but you also enjoy the ride and take in every minute of it. You made a plan, you mapped it out. You know where you going, if there's a detour, you'll take the detour, if you have a flat tire, you fix it. If you need gas you stop at a gas station, if you are hungry or tired, you take a brake and recharge. But you don't stop going. You don't lose sight of your final destination, you stay focused. You follow your map, your plan, if you don't might end up in Florida.
Do you have a map? A plan? If you don't. Make a plan right now! A plan of action steps.
Actions you can take right now. It could be a phone call or an e-mail. But before you act, intend the outcome. I'm calling Joe and he will get an interview for the new position they have open. Or I will call that club and will get a date booked for June.
Intend your day! Before you get out of bed, make an Intention on what you're going to create for yourself.

Journal it, and write down your successes every night before you go to bed, anything from the smallest thing like "I got a free coffee at Starbucks to "I received a check for $5000 today" The more success you have, the more you want to do it and make it a habit.
Never settle for mediocrity. Do it like your life depends on it.
A great way of finding out what you want is following the next three steps:
1. Write out all the things you don't want
2. Re-write each one of them as a want
(Example; "I don't want this old car” change it to "I'm so excited about my brand new black Z4")
("I'm tired of being broke" change it to "I make enough money to play for my desired lifestyle")
3. Turn your wants into Intentions.
I intend to make $10,000 per month
I intend to have a black Z4
4. Set a deadline. Like "my 30 day goals" or "my 90 day goals".
Keep it light and fun. Write a story about your new life. What does it feel like?
Look at your Action Plan and make a daily to do list. Only put the 3 most important things on it. Start with the one you like the least. (Get it out of the way)
Before you know it. Miracles will start to happen, people and opportunities will come to you and you'll get the life you want.
Look for signs and don't let obstacles stop you, see them as opportunities.
Happy Intentions!
