Top Resolutions and How to Keep Them

New Year Resolution and how to keep them committed.

2008 might be less than 2 months away, but if you really want New Year resolution success, it's time to start planning now! Here are some of the most common New Year resolutions and how you can keep them.

Keeping Trim & Slim

Most women dream of possessing the killer body that can use in our game to woo those we like. And even if we're in relationships, we still like the idea of looking as tight as possible to our partner.

How to keep this resolution:

Since you have time before D-Day, do some research on what your ideal weight might be, and don't forget to talk to your doctor or beautician about your desire to begin anew. A person's ideal weight and body type is different for each individual, depending on a whole variety of circumstances. Some may have severe asthma and is usually advice not to jump straight into hardcore exercise but to try some gentle yoga. And keep in mind that don't expect to see results in a week or two. Go through the whole program to trim down and stay focus.

Managing Money

Getting broke halfway through the month is not a phenomenon that's rare to many of us - in fact, some of us may experience periodically. Resolving to better manage your finances looks like a decent way out of the problem - however, sticking to a financial plan often seems easier said than done.

How to keep this resolution:

This resolution will not work without some proper planning. So, sit down and get cracking to exactly how much you get , and then take a look at what exactly you spend your cash on. The best is always to put aside the amount of money your want to save for that particular month the moment you get your paycheck, and the rest will be spending money. If there are left-over on the spending money, then it will be a bonus to you and you can put them into savings as extras. And, also remember not to max-out your credit card as you will feel the pain when the bill comes.

Be More Organized

Did you barely have time to celebrate New Year's because you were busy finishing off work of carrying other commitments? If so, it's likely “getting more organized” is one your resolutions for the coming year.

How to keep this resolution:

We know it's easier said than done, but an incredible amount of self-discipline is required. You need to plan in advance everyday, and continuously be updating your “to-do list”. Get a planner and pen down the things to do on a daily basis and stick to the schedule and completing them. The most important thing to remember is … do not procrastinate! Once you start to procrastinate, you will never get things done.
