Choice is one of the greatest gifts in life, that ability to exercise your free will; to decide what you want to do and what you do not want to do.
Like every privilege there is a responsibility attached to this gift of choice; the responsibility of making right choices.
Know this that nobody is going to be breathing down on you all the time as you make your choices.
You decide what you do and you also will be bearing whatever the outcome of your choice becomes.
Where you are now and what your life has been so far is as a result of previous choices made.
I know when we hear of choice our minds will go to those earth shaking decisions that we make through the course of life things life like career, who to marry where to live and all that. They sure do have their place in shaping our lives, but we need to realize the great impact of simple moment by moment decisions of our everyday life.
Mundane things like what to do with your time at work, what kind of dress to wear, what to do with that extra money you have at hand e.t.c. all add up to become our choices and mate out to us whatever consequences that may come from those choices.
The main point is for everyone not to take any decision for granted no matter how simple they are. Make sure that your decisions reflect the choices you'd like to make and the type of life you want to have ultimately.
This may not be easy but it is the only way to go if we do not want to live in the regret of wrong choices or even unconscious choices.
Let us get conscious of our decisions and our choices and make the best of this wonderful gift.
