Top 50 U.s Foundations Awarding Grants for Religion

Get a list of the Top 50 U.S Foundation that give Grants to Religion Organization. Plus tips to get funding from other funders.

Yes, you can get a grant to support religious organizations, but is limited. You can however get around the limits by creating a separate, community-based nonprofit organization that is only associated with the parent organization. With the new nonprofit you would keep separate records and have a separate board of directors to avoid a conflict of interest.

The new community nonprofit may offer programs for the community but not be a religious organization. The board of directors should be made up of both, community and religious leaders . That way you will be connected to your community and you will have the potential of a broader base variety of support.
