It is well noted that many people in Africa do not have a nutritional diet. They are suffering from many diseases and infections. The Never Ending Gardens is an organization that provides balanced nutritional diet for these poor people. It does this by building sustainable gardens and thus it gets that name.
The Never Ending Gardens is a non-profit organization based on faith. Its purpose is to reduce hunger in Africa. It does not depend on volunteers just from South Africa. But it looks for volunteers across the world, who are willing to work with the Africans to provide shelter for orphans and poor children, care for people suffering from diseases, provide food and help them learn skills and earn a living.
This organization cultivates gardens within the local community by themselves and also takes their support for sustainability. It serves to improve the quality of life of general people in Africa, to reduce hunger, provide nutritional diet and ensure good family life. It considers not only grains but also vegetables and other nutritional products to improve the immune system. World Health Organization and other agricultural agencies guide it in selecting the vegetables and grains.
