Have there been invaders to earth from outer space? Of course we all have relatives that we classify as aliens but have you heard of the Roswell incident in 1947?
William Brazel went out one morning in search of find some clues as to what he heard explode the night before. There had been a storm that night and a loud blast.
As William Brazel searched the terrain a reflection of metal was apparent. William saw a scattering of the small pieces along the landscape and he picked up some of them. William was surprised that he was not able to manipulate the pieces and yet they were very light in weight. William had never seen anything like the pieces he had found on earth and so he contacted Roswell Air Force Base, which was nearby.
Immediately upon entering the area where William Brazel found the pieces, the Air Force stood guard and refused to let civilians onto the site. At first the base said that amazingly the wreckage was indeed from a flying saucer, but later they retracted their story and claimed it was made in error.
The military then claimed that instead of a flying saucer it had been a weather balloon.
But soon many residents began to feel that the government was hiding something from the public.
Not long after there were tales about another collision site where tiny, grayish bodies were seen lying on the ground. An engineer, named Grady Barnett said he was a witness to the sightings. The government clearly told Grady Barnett to leave the crash site and never ever to tell anyone what he thought he had seen.
Grady Barnett claimed that the bodies were “like humans, but there were not humans.”
They had big heads skinny arms and thin legs. Grady Barnett thought they appeared to have sunken cheeks and no teeth.
Some people even today believe that the government was covering up what really happened and that there had been a crash involving alien beings.
There is even a story about a doctor who said that he was asked to perform an autopsy.
He claims that when “the bodies were cut open, a terrible smell filled the room and several doctors became too sick to carry on.”
There is even a legend that the bodies are housed on ice in Hanger 84 still today.
Will we ever know the truth or will this story forever continue to be one of mystery and urban legend? One thing is certain, if indeed these eye witnesses are correct then we need to change the popular expression “little green men” to “little gray beings.”
Then again, my neighbor is slightly gray in color, thin with a large head. Of course he smokes three packs of cigarettes a day, has limited blood circulation, no teeth, bald and short.
Who knows maybe invaders from space are already living in a neighborhood near you. Regardless, I wouldn't lose too much sleep over it.
I like reading UFO stories.
