A Vampires main difference is they have in longed, and hollow, canine teeth. They have to survive on the blood of humans, as most people know. Other interesting characteristics of a vampire, are the increased reflexes, stronger, smarter, and there physical differences.
Vampires, as many know, survive on the blood of humans. Why is this? Well the answer is quite simple. After you eat something, it goes to your stomach, thin to your small intestines, which absorb most of the nutrients. your blood then caries it to the rest of your body. much of the nutrients go to the brain, so obviously it would be smart to go for the jugular. Also most vampires are nocturnal, this also plays a factor in there eating habits. You body digest your supper mostly while you sleep.
Vampires are just better survivors than humans. There reflexes, and speed are incredibly enhanced. They can do everything from catch swords, and sometimes even bullets. They are usually stronger than humans, but keep there lean look. There more solid. Vampires are naturally smarter too. They under stand logic, and circumstance better than most humans. These factors make humans look like sloths, slow, stupid, weak, and suffer from vampires of some kind.(sloths have to deal with vampire bats)
Vampires have very weird physical traits. They have wings for starters. You would think to have wings they would have huge back mussels in order to keep them air-born, but they keep a very lean completion. One reason for this lean complexion is there fast metabolism. This is a reason why they eat so much. Other traits of vampires are red eyes, pointer ears, sharp almost elf like faces, and are taller than humans. But one weakness to vampires is silver. And not just crosses. I don't consider sunlight a weakness to vampires, I see no logic behind this.
This is my idea of a vampire. This isn't necessarily the “rite” view, partly because they don't exist. Also some stories think vampires can turn into bats. I don't believe in this side of the legend.
