If we listen carefully, we will hear our guardian angels speak to us, blessing us with their knowledge, love and protection. Although God created nine orders of angels, I am going to mention eight of the Archangels. Understanding these archangels and calling on them for help will help you to face the hardships of life and bring you joy and peace.
This table is a short summery of the archangels mentioned in this article. These archangels have special qualities that help us to live happily, find love, peace and success. They are the closest friends you will ever have, so share with them your needs, desires, heartache and fears. It is important to remember that archangels may only help you when you ask for their help.
Michael:
Michael's name means, “He Who Is, Like God” The reason for this is that he has the awesome qualities of the creator, love, power, strength and unwavering faith. Before going to sleep ask Michael to enter your dreams and clear away your fears that are blocking you from fully experiencing life and enjoying your spiritual gifts. He works best with you in your dreams because that is when we are open-minded and receptive.
Gabriel:
Gabriel's name means, “God is my Strength” She will help you find the strength to face any hardships that come your way and she will protect you in all ways. Look upon Gabriel to find the child within. She especially enjoys working with mothers and children from the time of conception to adulthood. If you ask her, she will help you during pregnancy, childbirth and parenting. She also assists children with problem parents. She will guide and nurture your inner child and if your inner child seems to fade into the distance, approach Gabriel and she will show you how to play again.
Raphael:
Raphael's name means, “Whom God Heals” He is heaven's physician and is always willing to help with the healing of human bodies and minds. On the other hand, he prefers to give guidance on how to have a healthy body. In answer to your prayers, he will prod you in the right direction. He knows that if you take care of your body, your self-esteem will blossom and with a good self-esteem, success in all avenues of life follows.
Ariel:
Ariel's name means “Lioness of God” She has a great love for all living things. If you lack courage or confidence, ask her to help you. She will help you to focus on the matter at hand and give you the courage you need to face it. She also helps you to attract the support you need for your life's mission. Sometimes we think what we want is what we need. She will guide you to what you need. She is like a lioness. A lioness is, tender and loving to its young, strong in her survival and courageous when the need arises. Ask her to help you gain these qualities with love and she will show you the ways of a lioness
Haniel:
Haniel's name means “Glory Of God” Using your talents and skills to the best of your ability is a way to show the glory of God. If you ask Haniel she will help you reach your highest potential. She will groom your hidden talents and help you polish your skills. So many are afraid of their talents thinking that they are not good enough. Haniel will be your teacher and mentor until you overcome and realise your talents. Once you accept and practice the talents and skills you are blessed with devine magic occurs.
Zadkiel:
Zadkiel's name means “Righteousness of God” If we all had the same ideas or beliefs this world would be a very boring place. Trouble is, too many are not willing to accept or tollerate anything that does not agree with our own ideas. Zadkiel helps you to see everyone's point of view. This gives you the power to find creative solutions that suits everyone. When someone does us wrong or we do something that hurts someone we find it hard to forgive or live with the guilt. Revenge, guilt and hate are emotions that poisen the heart and prevent happiness and peace. When asked, Zadkiel will enter your dreams and wash away all the emotional toxins from your heart.
Uriel:
Uriel's name means “The Light of God” He enlightens our minds with Devine inspiration. All ideas that are positive, loving or helpful, he is there to assist. All you have to do is ask and trust the answer he gives you. You have a vast inner wisdom but you do not realize or trust it. When asked, he will light the path to the wisdom of your thoughts and ideas, showing you the next step to take. When he does help, do not look a gift horse in the mouth. Have faith in him and do as he says.
Azrael:
Azrael's name means “Who god Helps”(Known as the angel of death) The angel of death is depicted as the bad or scary angel in movies and books yet he showers love and peace to both those who cross over and the ones left behind. New experiences in life are frightening. Dying is one of the most frightening experiences humans have to face. Azriel comforts the newly crossed over soul, showering it with a loving light and making it a wonderful experience.
The love of a loved one brings tears to the heart and soul, but if you ask Azrael he will help you accept, find peace and in return give peace to the soul who has crossed over. If you ask Azrael he will also bring a message or dream from your loved ones. Azrael also helps those who counsel others by giving them the correct words to use as well as the compassion and love needed for those who are in need of counselling.
