This subculture has practices that are deranged and downright dangerous.
Bloodletting, blood drinking, and blood-fetishes are just some of these practices,
Medically speaking, blood drinking is unsafe and has been historically
linked to certain mental disorders.
The blood is the life, So drinking blood is in essence stealing life.
the subculture that developed in the late 1970's that these things occur in
is the practice modern day vampirism. When I say vampirism I am not talking Anne Rice.
I am talking about practices such as those of Elizabeth Bathory,"The Blood Countess of Hungary."
Granted Elizabeth Bathory is by no means modern, she has been dead for a number of years.
There are however people that are fascinated by her and other vampirism practitioners.
One of the people enamoured by vampirism was Rod Farrel, I mentioned him in a previous article.
He could not differentiate reality from fantasy and fancied himself a vampire,
he was later convicted of killing his friend's parents.
Vampirism is a dangerous and warped practice, a fellow reporter a few years ago
was doing a story on the subculture and their practices, she was later murdered.
It is believed that somebody thought she was delving too deep and exposing too much.
Often times, vampirism practitioners are very secretive and go to great lengths to hide their activities.
Vampirism is wrong, it's that simple, it is not normal by any means.
As I said, to take someone's blood is to take part of their life,
I am not writing this article to beat down anybody, only to expose a dangerous, deviant practice.
Note:There are role players and then there are people that live a Life of vampirism.
Either way, drinking blood is wrong, blood fetishes are risky behaviors to say the least.
Remember that what is done in secret will eventually be brought into the light and exposed.
If you know someone who practices vampirism or anyone that drinks blood,
let them know of the dangers such a lifestyle brings about.
