Extraterrestrials
One of the hot topics in the media these days is about proof of the existence of extraterrestrials. Every so often there is someone reporting a crop circle or a UFO sighting. There are some people that intentionally create crop circles to trick people into believing in extraterrestrials. The reason that many people doubt their existence is that these days most people have to see something to believe in it. People who claim to have actually seen something usually believe that the government is hiding the proof that extraterrestrials exist. I do believe in extraterrestrials because I think if there is life on earth, why can’t there be life on another planet in another galaxy?
Bigfoot
Bigfoot has many names around the world like sasquatch or yeti. The first report of bigfoot dates all the way back to 1840 when a man named Elkanah Walker recorded myths of a hairy giant. Sightings of bigfoot have been reported all over the world. There are hundreds of reports but some are obviously hoaxes. People describe bigfoot as a hairy gorilla like creature that stands at 7-10 feet high. There has been only one report of someone being killed by bigfoot. They say that the best protection from bigfoot is to shine a light at it.
Atlantis
There are many theories as to what happened to the lost city of atlantis with the most popular one being a massive volcanic eruption. This comes from one of Plato’s dialogues. Some people don’t believe in the lost city of atlantis. Scientists claim that atlantis was a high tech city that was far more advanced that it’s time. Most scholars believe that atlantis is located in or near the Mediterranean sea.
As you can see, there are many mysteries in the planet that we inhabit. Some that will be solved, and some that we may never find the answer to but until we find out the answer to a mystery, it will remain… a mystery.
