There are many ways for the experienced dowser to use their pendulum. Pendulums can be used to dowse maps, find gold, water, and even people. As you become more acquainted with your pendulum you will find out what works for you and what doesn't.
This simple method works for everyone. All need is a bit of concentration.First of all, draw a straight line on a piece of paper and hold your pendulum over it. I hold mine with the string between my finger and thumb and adjust the length until it feels right.Tell the pendulum to move along the straight line.
Keep telling it and maintain your concentration. It will do it.
Next, draw a circle on a large piece of paper and tell the pendulum to move clockwise, saying, "this is yes" Keep doing this until it does what you tell it.Then tell it to move anti-clockwise and say "this is no".
Keep repeating the instruction.Your pendulum can only answer yes or no so you need to frame your questions carefully. Once you have perfected this you have a simple to use, portable tool , that can answer any question by a process of elimination.
For example: Dowsing a map:Spread the map out on the table. Focus on your intent, i.e. what you want your pendulum to help you find.
Say, example that you want to find underground water. Start at one point and ask the pendulum if you are moving in the right direction. As long as the direction is correct, it will say yes. If it says no, change direction. Thus through a process of elimination you will find what you want.
There are lots of applications for the pendulum and dowsers have been employed to find oil, water, gold, and even lost children.
With practice you can achieve a lot.
