Growing up I was always interested in psychics and psychic abilities and read all that I could from many different psychics and mediums. I always made a point to watch Sylvia Brown when she was on the Montel Williams show and John Edward on his show Crossing Over. My interest took on a whole new meaning when my little sister was killed in a motorcycle accident in 2000.
My mother bought tickets for a group of us to go and see James Van Praagh at a church in Boston and I was excited. The problem was that there were hundreds of people there and we were unfortunately not one of the people picked. I was upset and started to lose some faith in the whole thing.
My mother went to a medium in New Hampshire, Jon Holland and she had a wonderful reading and I signed right up on his website for a personal reading. It took several months and I finally got the phone call for my appointment time. The appointment was fast approaching and I was nervous. My husband and I spent the night at my mother’s to make the trip to Jon’s office in New Hampshire less of a drive.
We arrived at the office and my anxiety level just skyrocketed. I didn’t know what to expect and what was going to happen. I thought my heart was going to pound out of my chest. A handsome man called my name and told me that he was Jon and welcomed me to his office and took me upstairs to the room for the reading. It was a comfortable room with some ambient lighting and Jon directed me to a futon and told me to get comfortable.
I tried to but I was still feeling slightly nervous, Jon seemed to say a prayer of some sort and started talking to someone off to the right of him. It was unnerving to say the least. He asked if I was there to see a male figure and I told him that no I was there to communicate with my little sister, and he told me that a male figure was there for me. Turns out that male figure was my biological father and he wanted to make the first impression on me and he did. Messages came across that I was later able to verify with my half-sister and the information was definitely valid. My biological father, Danny, brought my sister through and I received so much validation that it was really her that it was overwhelming.
The information given was abstract, like silly things about family to concrete things like the fact that I had her initials tattooed on my back and that I wore her favorite sweater all the time.
It was one of the most rewarding experiences of my entire life and it is a gift that I wish I had so I could give people the gift that was given to me in that reading.
