They are portrayed as to being ghosts, devils, demons, entities, a chilling area or spot, or even someone or something talking from thin air. No matter what you portray it as the question that I am going to get to at the moment is that should we be afraid of them/it or not. Sure ghosts can be creepy, just making a quick chill in the air or making noises, that would be creepy to anybody.
Devils and demons are to be scary by how they are said to look and act when someone goes to hell, and some people have different ideas about hell. Some think that hell is this fiery pit where you burn for eternity if you did so many sins, some think it is just a place of torture that you go to when there are so many sins you have committed, and some don't even believe in it.
Back to the supernatural subject, do these entities do us any harm? This is the question we should answer. No, they have not done us any real harm that affected us physically, they may pop up out of nowhere and scare you but they have not harmed us. I have done research left and right and have not found one piece of writing where it states that someone has been hurt by a being that has already passed on or has come from underground or even from a different plane. People only think that ghosts and ghouls are able to hurt them, not saying that they cant, is because of movies, books, games, and beliefs.
I think that we should respect these entities and help them pass on to this other dimension, realm, heaven or hell, or just a place where they go. In return they will learn to respect us as well and wont try to scare us or do us any harm. You may get a sudden chill down your spine, but it may be them simply looking over your shoulder to see what you are doing or just trying to see through your eyes. Maybe these entities don't think that they have passed on and are trying to get some attention from you to show that they are there.
We don't know what the ghosts are thinking or what they are doing, more than half the time we don't know they are there. All we need to do is lay off of them, if they are even there and stop giving them a bad name, if they even understand english.
