I hate actors who keep their fake accents with them throughout the movie and its interviews. Especially those of us who have a fetish for British actors. Which is why you can imagine my surprise when i found out that Christian was British with a really cute Welsh accent to boot. He has always maintained his good looks right from when he played the charming Laurie in Little Women. And then came Batman and a thousand fan girls screamed into the heavens. Of course his talent adds to his looks. What makes him such a wonderful actor is his ability to keep a balance between offbeat movies like The Machinist and blockbusters like The Batman.
David Thewlis
There might be some who would argue with this choice, but David Thewlis has been one of my favorite actors and I would disagree with those who thinks he is not attractive, that is if you ignore his moustache laden look in Prisoner of Azkaban. David is one of the most underrated actors in Hollywood and can't even seem to get the right roles in Britain. However he has a great filmography which includes The Island of Dr. Moreau in which he starred opposite the legendary Marlon Brando. It is again David's accent that adds to his looks but his gruffiness and baritone voice increases his sexiness as well.
Orlando Bloom
Whats better than a sexy pirate? A sexy pirate played by Orlando Bloom of course. Since countless hours and numerous words have been used up in discussions relating to his looks over the years, I will simply proceed to the next person in the list.
Johnny Lee Miller
Another actor that mixes great looks with wonderful performances. Most notable in Trainspotting as the junkie Dad, Johny Lee Miller has worked in a string of commercial and critically successful movies. He is perhaps one of the most attractive British actors with sleek cheekbones and an adorable smile. No wonder Angelina Jolie fell for it.
Hugh Laurie
The gasps are unanimous when people are told the hostile curmudgeon from House M.D is played by a Brit. Pulling off one of the best fake American accents ever, Hugh Laurie was also reincarnated as a sex symbol, the day he stepped into the role of Gregory House. Despite being old he is still venerated by the female popluation of his fan following. Add to it the fact that he is British and you get a wilder roar from the female fans.
Daniel Day Lewis
An actor that is too good for Hollywood. Even his exceptional looks can't detract from his performances. The two time Academy Award winner is probably one of the best living actors in the world today. His chiseled features and his beautiful smile is not in the least lessened by his age. Of course the Irish accent completes the package.
Alan Rickman
Who would be the best volunteer for an anti-aging cream. How about an actor who is 61 years old, who keeps getting better with age and still gets everyone from 13 year old girls to 50 year old women screaming. It amazes me how the veteran British actor manages to seem more attracive now than he did ten years ago. Of course no discussion on Alan is complete without the mention of that voice. That deep, soul trembling, orgasmic voice that melts women. The best thing my ears have ever been subjected to? Alan reading a sonnet.
James McAvoy
I wasn't attracted to him when I saw him the first time. He did however manage to steal my heart in Atonement. But what really had me begging for more was when I saw his interview. No let me rephrase that. When I heard his interview. The best thing about Scotland are the people. Why? Because they have one of the sexiest accents in the world. Combine great looks with a sexy accent and bountiful talent and you get bliss. You also get to be second on my list of ten sexiest British actors.
Gary Oldman
Excruciatingly talented, unbelievably charming, overwhelmingly modest and devastatingly sexy. I could fill an entire page about this gem of an actor and I would still not be able to do justice to his greatness. Gaining his breakthrough in Sid and Nancy by giving a minblowing performance as the eccentric Sid Vicious, Gary oldman has been wooing the hearts of women and men alike for decades. But what really makes him so great is his down to earth personality, his revulsion for the celebrity culture and his exorbitant talent. Gary Oldman to me is the quintessential British actor who reminds the world why women are crazy about British actors.
