Oops?
Conservatives and feminists cried foul when Britney, then 17, posed wearing only a bra and a pair of skimpy shorts on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine in 1999.

The move proved a smart career choice. People wanted more of Britney and her sophomore album Oops!...I Did it Again (2000) sold a staggering 1.3 million units on its first week alone. For four years, Britney, now 26, was the biggest solo female act in music. But in 2002, things started to go downhill.
