According to MSN Music, 22-year-old Raven Symone is an actress who first grabbed hold of the hearts of Americans through the “Cosby Show.” She was only a little tot then, but her role as “Olivia Kendall” was so memorable that it eventually led her into a business deal with Disney. They offered her a starring role on one of their first Black TV shows called “That's So Raven.” And as they say, the “rest is history.”
Public reaction to Raven Symone's character “Raven Baxter” was so strong that according to the website “My Stuff” it played a season longer than the usual Disney shows. It also propelled her into other side businesses: make-up, perfume, movies and books. The success from these side ventures led to a 2007 cover on Ebony Magazine calling her the “$500,000 Million Dollar Woman.” It was an event that highlighted all of her hard work and gave her the “props” that she so richly deserved. And what was so great about this article was that it was obvious that Raven was not ready to stop. So what's her latest gig? A music tour.
Mid-March, Raven Symone released a single “The Double Dutch Bus.” It was a remake of the popular 1981 version sung by artist Frankie Smith. The catchy rhythmic beat of this song is similar to songs she's sung in the past like “Superstition.” Also, although there is not a complete album of songs that has been released with it as of yet, she's surely working on a few more. It's a patter that she and other artists tend to follow in this decade. So when can you see her in concert?
Raven Symone's first concert date is April 26 at the UCF arena in Orlando Florida per her site Raven Symone Presents. This is a first of a 3 month tour that ends in July. Tickets range from $27.50 to $144.70. You can purchase them at Ticketmaster.
When you go to her concert be ready for a lot of great singing and fun. Symone is a class act and is very talented and warm to the public. Also, don't forget to bring a few extra dollars, so you can buy memorabilia that help you remember the concert for years to come.

Raven Symone also had a key role on the sitcom “Hanging With Mr. Cooper.” This show didn't last that long, but it continued to help her grow as a comedic-actress. It's one reason that she made the transition into the character “Raven Baxter” so easily.
