In a recent article I read promoting a book published around 2005
called "Howard Hughes, Hell's Angel" I saw many blatently falsified allegations that Howard is not here to defend himself against. I found the book to be slanderous and derogatory.
It made claims accusing Hughes of everything from sadistic abuse to murder.
The old man has been dead since 1976 and yet people have the nerve to write tabloid type unsubstantiated claims. Howard Hughes, While some may call him eccentric
was an extraordinary man and for all his faults,regrets and fears, he still gave a great deal to society.
The technology that makes wireless internet, the modern hospital bed, and safe modern air travel possible are all innovations and inventions that were developed by Howard Hughes and his associates. This article is written in defense of Howard's legacy and in Protest of all those who would blatently falsify information to sell books or other media.
In this money mongering world, is nothing safe from degradation and abuse?
The article I am writing is a counter-article to the one I read. What ever Howard Robard Hughes may have been or done, one thing he was NOT was an abuser or murderer.
He respected people, while he may not have always trusted them, he had his reasons.
If people were degrading you and making allegations against you, would you trust them? I think not.
