Only one episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” was dedicated to the death of her father, lawyer Robert Kardashian. Per this episode , he died in 2003. It's an event that the family celebrates annually and is still struggling to get over. However, it is obvious that Kim is not letting this event bring her down.
It is often said that how a person reacts to tragedy shows what they are made of. In her case, it must be steel. Why? She's been able to build up her career, find love and walk out into the world with a smile. All of this in the face of such tragedy at a very young age. She is an example of a person who overcomes tragedy instead of letting tragedy overcome her.

With the help of her mother Kris, Kim Kardashian has been able to build up her stardom.
