Life is a Comedian

My thoughts on life and striving to combat hardships.

I find life so comical. We strive through life yearning to achieve some goal or other. And yet, what happens when it has been accomplished -- we encounter other obstacles that need to be solved.

And when you have everything you could want, you are left with nothing and are enveloped in chaos.

Life is the worst and best problem we are faced with.

Without suffering, what worth would life have?
And what fun would living be if there were no chances to demonstrate one's abilities?

I have had a very easy life, and I am not complaining; but I do at the slightest misfortune.

I guess what I am trying to get at is to be grateful for the hardships that come at us; and conversely, for those hardships that we do not have to face.

And after we have proven ourselves to the world, bedridden and grey, we die.
