Philosophers View on Power

Describing what are the ideals of governing the world needs in ancient Greek school of thought of Plato, Socrates and Aristotle.

Power as well all know is the central theme of life. Power is what we as the inhabitants of earth need. The use of power is important because power is the chord father central theme of life. Power is such a hugely important factor on earth that we can understand it only through the eyes of three philosophers. These three philosophers are Socrates, Plato and Aristotle.

Each will present his own unique view on the use of power

Socrates was the most famous and earliest Greek philosopher. He taught an idea that one should be enlightened if one knows his/her self. In my interpretation the ideal state for the use of power was through democracy. They believe in democracy was fair and most efficient way of governing use of power. He suggested and I believe so the responsibility lay not in nobility but in common and each every single citizenship within the society. The reason being, there would be more likely of abuse if too much privilege is given without checks and balance.
After a while came another famous philosopher Plato. Plato was best student of Socrates. In Plato's ideas and classical thought that follows his direction is that the fair way of using power was though a small number or a single wise and brilliant dictator. My thought is the same agreement in some situation power should only be a privilege for the rich and wealthy. The reason why some people and philosopher Plato believes in such ideal is because of a realist approach of everyone is in self interest human nature. Modern example would be like multi-national corporations and the conservative party.

After Plato came Aristotle. In modern day term I believe he is sort of a liberal middle class supporter of human nature. It is a mixture of Plato and Socrates in that is believe that power is a mixture of government when using dictatorship at times, while having democracy in some instances and occasions. Basically it is an equality of opportunity not equality of result.
What would life be life if Aristotle, Plato and Socrates live in our age of time? If these philosopher had lived in our age of time our society would be so well civilized that we would no longer need prisons or jails. The world as it now stands will further advance in civilizations if the people in general look at power through the eyes of these three philosophers.
