Row or bail ?

Personal philosophy on inner strength

Ever have a day that you are surrounded by a cloud of misery that looms around every corner? A day that you determine early on would be best slept through, yet every time you close your eyes you are swallowed by visions of facing the inevitable horrors of reality?

Imagine your life is a boat with a tiny hole in the base… You are floating endlessly a crossed a seemingly vacant ocean. Do you spend your days bailing water from the boat cursing the hole, and praying that the vacant ocean would soon become occupied with persons who would just love to save someone’s life? Or do you bail when necessary & row when you aren’t bailing?

When the “clouds of gloom” are surpassing your daily duties, just remember there is a shore somewhere if you are strong enough to row to it, and smart enough to know when to ‘bail’.
