Many people think that nature is just there to be looked at, and that is the end of it. Well there is a lot more to it if you just give it a chance to show you.
Many indigenous people have worked with nature for many lifetimes, and continue to do so for the answers to questions, and to give them information about the surroundings and sometimes to what the weather may be going to do over the next few hours.
Using and working with nature, becomes natural to indigenous people and is becoming more and more popular with others on our planet and the awareness is being heightened as the energies upon this planet we know as mother earth.
Our awareness and perception is being heightened and we are remembering information which again will lead us in our daily lives in a much more profound and peaceful way.
Take the hawk for instance a magnificent bird of prey, I have be blessed with where I live to encounter this fascinating bird in its natural habitat it has taught me many things, and bought answers to questions which I have asked the universe to assist with.
When putting a question out to the universe in the form of a prayer or just a chat the universe will answer you, and maybe not in ways in which you would “normally” expect, so if you were to look at everything in a day which was there you would most definitely find the answer to your question, maybe not on the day in which you ask but in time.
The hawk always taught me as I made daily observations about how it hovered, and then take its pray, it taught me patience. It would teach me how to be observant and look at things going on around me, with making a sound there was an immense power which surrounded me when I connected with this bird.
It was like having a personal tutor to guide me, the colouring of this bird also taught me many things I would research a lot of the information from different sources but I finally came to communicate on a one to one basis with this bird of prey by watching it every time its presence was there. I would see it for months every day at the same time, and I would study it and communicate with it through thought.
Then I would not see it for weeks on end, and have not seen it for months recently so I believe that the medicine which this bird of prey offers to me is not required and that I have enough of the knowledge required to continue to work with the patterns and new ways which I was taught to deal with things in my life.
All animals have this powerful ability to teach us, there is a company who produces animal essences, no harm ever comes of animals in order for these essences to be made, and the powerful transitions which are obtained by orally taking these essences is once again magnificent.
The energies of the animals are said to work with you through vibration which is very accurate and unbelievable when a significant shift takes place.
But to watch nature and to connect with her is another powerful resource at our fingertips which we can utilise to assist us create balance, peace and harmony into our daily lives.
Mother nature, changes naturally through what we know as seasons, and again over the last 10 years I have worked with her, being guided to change as she does, now comes the autumn a time for getting rid of old thought, feelings and emotions, clutter, etc and begin to slow down to rejuvenate the inner self in accordance with the rhythms of life.
As nature goes through a beautiful colour transformation so do I, by changing the colour of the clothes which I wear, and changing the colour of my hair to reflect the change in season.
I do a detox to cleanse the inner self, nothing drastic but a gentle inner cleanse to move old debris and energy which may have got stuck over the summer.
My house is detoxed in a similar fashion, getting rid of things which I have not used since last year.
My life runs in seasons, and I can then enjoy Mother Nature at a much more profound level and understand how her heart beats and see the joy in everything which surrounds me, this allows my energies to stay in balance with the universe.
Mother nature is a powerful teacher, allow yourself today to give something back to her, I find it therapeutic to give her something back, and in the traditional manner of the Shamanic (Native American Indian) road I offer her food and water and give her a blessing every night, and thank her for allowing me to walk upon her back, offering her healing from the universe to bring her back into balance.
I bless her with my love, and gratitude. I see her with my heart with each step that I take, and I never take her for granted, I respect her for without her I would not be here.
May Mother Earth be blessed by each and everyone of us.
When you are feeling low, sit by a flowing river or babbling brook, and ask mother nature to rebalance you, ask the water to cleanse your emotions, and most of all ask for the assistance of the trees, especially if you are able to sit under a willow tree, the energies will remove all negative emotion from your being and leave you feeling uplifted and refreshed.
She is very valuable to us as individuals and as a whole, without her we would not have the delight of her fragrances in the summer, and the beauty of the barren trees in the winter. Without her we would have no existence.
So thank you mother earth for this experience to get close to you, teach those who wish to be taught how to blossom like you do each season. Work with us to bring us back into balance as a race.
Every day when you travel down the motorway, how much of Mother Nature do you see? How much time do you spend listening and watching her as she teaches you how to live here on the earth plane? How many of you have even noticed her?
As you read this today is the day in which you can begin to make a difference to your own life through the profound messages which nature brings to us. Allow yourself to be open to receive the abundance that mother earth brings to us all.
May nature guide you and keep you safe on your journey.
