So how should the US deal with proven terrorists that they catch? Maybe they should give them a chance to change sides by locking them up in cells and use torture tactics. A lot of people disagree and put heat on the US if they suspect that detainees are being torture. Than again, why shouldn’t the US use these tactics, when some terrorists groups are putting hostages on live TV and threaten to kill and behead them and sometimes go through with it and show graphic images.
Sometimes there has to be severe tactics to get intelligence from some groups. I also saw on the news, that some groups call on people to kill Americans in the country and kill them in brutal ways. When dealing with people who only want to harm people and kill to make they’re point should be consider a threat and taken seriously, so there fore is maybe the reason that the US has too apply brute force.
They are fighting an enemy who does not care for the western world and has committed act of terrorism. This article doesn’t express my point of view, this is just what I have heard from the news and newspapers etc.
