A short narrative on the values and norms realized by the debate on the rules of engagement in war.
So the very idea that our finalized evolution has become evident with the new debate on whether or not torture should be legalized is now a prominent concern. As I caught the last part of a debate aired on a news broadcast last evening I was forced to go where no man has gone. As far as opinion I would rather not elaborate, but found this debate interesting as opposed to the recent conferences held in the past. The problem per say may be the inevitable truth that this ice pick fantasy has now become a realistic truth for many nations around the world. The truth is war is unbearable at all cost, but our values, morals, and norms are defined by our own humanity and humane judgments we make. In other words once again we are challenged with the argument of, is it right to take life to preserve life. This particular debate tips the scale with the fact that taking a life inhumanely to preserve a life should be legal. The signing of this document will not only promote mercenary activity around the world, but may promote horrid dictatorships leading to such as the shortcomings Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin. In other words this could easily promote a World War Three.
Aside from values and norms the definitive education of our children is also at stake. I mean if you can make it through kindergarten you have enough education to fight the passing of this bill. Okay I will admit this is one of the hardest debates to cover with instigating any blackened humor whatsoever, but still feel this rampage must come to an end before we can truly define our own values and norms.
My opinion is generally simple as for rules of engagement keep them simple and humane. This is respectful and if that brain can't respect these things, it may very well need down sizing. This may be one of the more important issues we may face in America and the whole world over. As I am not a brain surgeon I still have enough common sense to see that the concept of torture does not fall short of severe retardation of the brain. Besides, if everybody walked around in a world of legalized torture, Law and order would be replaced by a giant Meat Market. As I have said there is no easy way to tackle this subject, but to hope it goes away accordingly.
In a publicized opinion poll, most Americans will feel this is something they may not want to exist in America. As for judgment calls made from our law enforcement agencies, they should be promoted to save lives. This is usually always the case, but promoting premeditated torture in any country can lead to nothing less than a high rise in the need for brain surgeons.
So the dreams of our youths are now being affected by these debates. The changing of these simple structures will affect everyone. Dreams are never cheap in a world of chaos, but we are forced to keep them realistic everyday. I will sign off by saying try to keep yours real as well.
Though I feel this submission was not the highlight of my writing career, I thought the debate itself was not the highlight of our own humanity. The inevitable question of dealing with promoting the legalization of torture was leading into the sewer anyway. This is a little too mid evil for my own personal taste. Not that I wanted to dive in to answer that, but promote a realistic argument to Americans as well as the countries seeking to promote this around the world. Besides these debates and conferences are not generally promoting healthy public opinion either way, but even worse of all they portray the War in the Middle East and Afghanistan as an inhumane attempt by our American troops. Okay lets be realistic it’s not exactly the Land of Oz, and never was. I am not trying to prove the debate, but during the war there have been many instances where military leaders have been penalized or questioned for possible war crimes. In some instances there may have been freelance activity leading to military trials. On the other hand many countries do not respect the same values or morals as we would like to think. Terrorism isn’t actually a heaven sent activity, and dictatorships often become large scale reigns of terror. My only hope is that the growing number of countries fighting to support these things is rapidly diminishing. So to further my answer in most cases any attempt at freelance involving unnecessary mercenary activity or any form of “foul play” usually becomes discovered, exposed, and quickly results in arrest. The problem is promoting these ideas in America is evidently constricting our personal freedoms and promoting more hate within America. Besides I personally would like to keep the American dream far beyond this debate, and if it means we have to set our standards higher than that is fine. The problem is the world is starting to veer the wrong way. Keeping our standards realistic will also protect our troops as well, which should always a primary concern of any military. The thing we must remember is; our forces put a hold on outside terrorism as well as the take down of a major dictatorship which didn’t express any morals or values anyway even to their own people. At the same time they need to be protected from that as well. Different countries may not have an established democracy and may support things we can never understand, but we must keep the goal of beating them and not joining them realistic. Many terrorist are now killing themselves along with other people. They are promoting the attitude they have nothing to lose. Maybe they believe that, but still it is not our place to break our own rules to figure out why. Besides we don’t need people going mid evil every time they become bored. Once more we do not need to bang confessions out of people in America or any country for that matter especially if they didn’t actually do anything wrong. So the beginning meets the end in this matter which is…. the highlight of my writing career.
