For centuries our nation, along with the rest of the world fight the enemy of segregation. Through race, class and religion we as the human race have shown failure under God to recognize the understanding of a unify world of indifference. History has taught if not reminded us that in the end we shed blood on both sides of the battlefield. More importantly, how do we justify reasons for war? How do return to our love ones and believe our sins were excused? Should a tyrant insist to engage their radical beliefs on others through fear, we along with other nations of democracy have the responsibility to stand and defend those who only know freedom through their dreams. Freedom is more than a dream, it is a reality for thousands who fought and die in the name of democracy. The men and women who have paid the ultimate price are remembered as heroes whose blood is not tainted by fear, but by courage.
Edmund Burke once said….”The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” War, no matter what the cause has always had devastating consequences. In the homes of the soldiers families are tears of joy and sadness in the unknowing, uncertainty news that awaits them. Soldiers leave their love ones in a time of crisis so that others can continue to feel safe.
World peace is not beyond our reach; it's a dream that must be shared by all to accomplish, not fought. No one under God has the right to tell others what to think or to believe. We have made extraordinary discoveries listening, learning from those who proposed ideas we never thought possible and yet many throughout history, some of the “great minds” have been put to death due to their beliefs, but to rule over others with an “iron-fist” leaves no room for positive growth. We must take the responsibility to cease to view the world in black & white.
All men are created equal, yet others arrogantly see themselves vainly above others. Democracy is meant for all to have. Unfortunately we live in a world with much hate the forces us to earn it. In America we say….”United we stand.” This quote in hopes one day will be spoken from the months of those on distant continents under their own flag in the representation of democracy.
However, your advocacy of democracy is at odds with peace and liberty. Democracy is the divine right of the majority to violate the individual. Peace is the absence of such violations and liberty is the right of the individual not to be violated. Their relationship is adversarial rather than complimentary and/or cooperative. Democracies must lie to, steal from, kidnap, assault and murder individuals to survive. This has been, is, and always will be, incompatible with peace and liberty.
