Is This the End of the Democratic Party?

My thoughts on the end of a crappy political party. I won't miss those hippie socialists a bit.

In a way they are. The longer this race goes on, the worse it is for the party. Sooner or later the Democrats won't want to vote anymore. (Fact; 60% of Democrats don't vote in the general elections)

Just like in 1972 when the Democratic primaries were getting heated, every Democratic candidate was talking trash about the next and not Nixon. And then in the general election Nixon cleaned house with McGovern. (Nixon only stayed in office for a year and a half after because of the Watergate situation)

And now Hillary has already said that John McCain would make a better president then Obama. So any future endorsement won't happen or will not be taken seriously. And on the other side of the coin, Obama has said many times that the Republicans have better ideas then Hillary herself.

So now that they are pumping up their supporters more and more against each other, they are also causing them to not like and or hate the other candidate, so the voters won't go to the opposite person if their guy/girl doesn't clinch the nomination.

“The future is doomed to repeat its self.” remember what I said about 1972. Look up that election and see how much McGovern lost by. You will be shocked.

The same thing is happening here. While Hillary and Obama battle for delegates and popular votes, John McCain is gathering more and more money and voters and he is unchallenged now. (Except by the media)

Yes the Democrats are turning out more voters then the republicans in the primaries but that's because of their hard campaigning. Just like “Obama Mania” it will die out as soon as the people get tired of being in the middle of a never ending feud. And they are bringing up more and more dirt on each other so the decided voters won't want to switch sides after the convention like I said because of all the trash talking.

At first everyone thought of the two as fresh blood. But now they see how dirty and sneaky they are now that neither will budge for a VP spot.

I hope you see what I'm saying. Because I can't think of another way to explain it. Well I hope you know what I'm talking about now after reading this. Thank you.
