The last Sunday, the ruling Socialists won the legislatives election and gained five seats for a total of 169 in the 350-seat parliament. This victory of the Socialists in the recent elections in Spain will increase the chance of the French Socialists to win in the second term of the municipal and local councils elections next week-end in France. This pink wage can also be a precious help for the Italy's centre-left that should face the liberal and radical Silvio Berlusconi. At the same time, in Germany, the liberal coalition of Angela Merkel is blowing up while the SPD is coming back to power in several Lands.
If this pink tendency is confirmed in Europe we can wait a kind of international endorsement for the Democratic Party in the United States, since for Jean McCain it will be very hard to find some important allies in Europe. The Socialists in Spain, Italia and France can be a front to oppose any new aggressive policy carried out by the United States during Bush administration or after that, especially regarding Iran and its nuclear activities.
