When Bush first started, the U.S. was already in debt and had many problems with employment. The terrorist attack at 9/11 definitely made matters worse. War was declared on Iraq, and it was straight downhill from there.
Oil Prices have reached $95 a barrel, there is a high unemployment rate, and the foreclosure rate for housing has skyrocketed. With all of these horrible happenings, Americans have to have someone to blame it on, right? So they blame it on the person with the most authority over the country; George W. Bush.
If you take a minute right now, think about this: could George Bush really stop this downward economic spiral? How?
This is where the topic gets interesting. If citizens have a large part of control over this country, shouldn't they at least share their ideas with the Congress? If ideas were shared like they were supposed to be, things would be a lot smoother.
Do you still think that it's George W. Bush's fault for America being in this situation, or do you think that it is everybody's fault?
