Many people in the American society hate George W. Bush. People say America is in a bad stage right now. I have to completely disagree with this statement.
The American Economy

First of all, America is not in a bad stage. Yes, we are in a war, but is that causing our economy to hurt? Possibly. If it is though it is a small significance to the American economy. Then the people that think America is in a bad rut blame it on George W. Bush.
Executive Branch versus Legislative Branch

People have to distinguish what is the President's decision and what is Congress’s decision.
Presidential Duties

First of all, George W. Bush is the head of the Executive Branch. He is the head of foreign affairs. This does not mean, however, that he can start a war without the consent of others. Sometimes, during a time of need, the Congress can grant the President more powers than he normally holds. Even when they do grant these “special powers” to the President, he still cannot wage war on other countries without Congress' consent.
The Blame Game

If you want to blame someone you can blame the Congress for approving presidential ideas or their own beliefs.
Best wishes.
Sincerely,
-Liane Schmidt.
