Ron Paul: An American Patriot

Ron Paul has never voted for an issue that would impede upon the constitution, never voted for the Patriot Act, and never voted for the Iraq war.

With the dwindling support for the current administrations policies, Americans are looking for an alternative to the growing list of scandals that are plaguing American politics. What would you say if I told you there was a candidate who wanted to bring our money back to the gold standard that is stated in the constitution, abolish the federal reserve and the federal income tax, and shrink the government down to a conservative size?

Many of us have watched the debates and have noticed one thing, all the candidates are saying the same things, except for one. Ron Paul has never voted for an issue that would impede upon the constitution, never voted for the Patriot Act, and never voted for the Iraq war. He is best known lately, for breaking an online donation record for most money donated in one day (about $4.2 million). What most people don't know is that Dr. Ron Paul had delivered over 4000 babies when he practiced as an ob-gyn. He also served in the military as a flight surgeon from 1963 to 1965. Ron Paul also has more military officers contributing to his campaign than any other candidate. That ought to tell you something about the revolution that is happening right before our eyes.

Dr. Ronald Ernest "Ron" Paul was born August 20, 1935 in Greentree, Pennsylvania. Intelligent and athletic, Paul graduated from Dormont High School in 1953 with honors. Although Paul was offered a scholarship for athletics to a major university, he declined due to a previous injury. Instead, he paid for his first year at Gettysburg College with money he had earned doing various jobs. He graduated in 1957 with a major in biology. Ron Paul began attending Duke University School of Medicine and soon earned his doctorate in 1961. He was soon drafted for the Cuban Missile Crisis into the Air Force. Although Paul was on active duty during the Viet-Nam war, he was never sent to that part of the world.

With his extensive medical training, Paul moved to Lake Jackson, Texas and began practicing medicine there. He is said to have delivered 40-50 babies a month keeping busy as the counties only ob-gyn doctor. His practice often worked pro-bono because they refused Medicaid and Medicare payments.

His early political life consists of a run as a libertarian against Ronald Reagan in the eighties for prespodent of the United States. His outspoken views have been a controversy with the existing, neo-conservative movement in this country. Ron Paul has consistently scored very well in the polls and is obviously the victim of a media blackout. Dr. Paul may be the last hope for a democratic republic in this country.

Our government has been slowly shifting towards a dictatorship and I don't want to see our sovereignty threatened in any way. If you feel the same way I do, join the revolution and vote for Ron Paul. Bring freedom back to this country, help restore the constitution, vote for a patriot.

Hi, well researched and well written article. Dr. Paul speaks too much truth for most of his party. He is very smart and logical.
