On this Thanksgiving day, I give thanks that there are still enough people with their heads screwed on straight in this country that we have held off the forces of political correctness as the try to overtake our schools, our government, and our identity as a nation.
The liberal assault on American values has never been stronger, yet good people continue to fight back. If nativity scenes disappear from our Christmas world all together, it will be a sad day indeed. But until that time, good people of faith and honor will fight for what is right and to keep them boldly in the public eye.
I give thanks that political correctness is still seen in the eyes of many as extremism gone crazy. Thankfully when most people heard the story of the Santa's in Australia being warned not to use the words “ho, ho, ho” they laughed in disbelief but then quickly realized that if they did not continue to push back, that is where we are headed.
When our sons and daughters cannot hug each other hello and goodbye as they have done for years for fear on sexual harassment lawsuits there are still many of us that shake their heads in disbelief, as self-righteous, paranoid liberals try to protect us from ourselves.
No, on this Thanksgiving holiday I thank the Lord that we as a nation have not given in to extremism on the left. We have continued to hold our ground, to the values and faith of our forefathers. Our young men and women will continue to fight for freedom and we will continue to fight to our dying breath against the insanity of liberal extremism and political correctness out of control.
So when you say your prayer over Thanksgiving dinner, forget about the moment of silence and the generic “we give thanks.” Let it all hang out! Be sure to mention the one who made it all possible by name, the Lord God and his Son Jesus Christ. So many have fought and died for your right to do so! Have a great Thanksgiving!
