Is there such a thing as one soul mate? I have met countless people who say they just knew that he/she was the one. Let’s play devil’s advocate for just a moment. Statistics tell us that 50 percent of today newlyweds end up in the divorce line. So what makes you sure there is just one person for you? There are over 6 billion people in the world and I am sure that there is more than one match for you!!
But while that may hold true, there is still only one that would make your heart skip a beat. The secret lies in being content with whoever you are with. There will always be someone prettier, smarter, faster, etc… but they won’t be there for you when you are down and out. Only your bosom buddy, your cohort, your partner for life can propel and uplift you through the darkest of seas.
I propose to you today that there is such a thing as a soul mate. You might be looking in the wrong places, might not be ready to handle the person financially, emotionally etc.., or it’s just not the right time. Whatever the case, keep hope alive because the best is yet to come…
