Betraying A Friend

If two friends ask you to judge a dispute, don't accept, because you will lose one friend; on the other hand, if two strangers come with the same request, accept because you will gain one friend.”

If two friends ask you to judge a dispute, don't accept, because you will lose one friend; on the other hand, if two strangers come with the same request, accept because you will gain one friend.”by Saint Augustine. This quote just happens to describe a time in my life in which I betrayed a good friend for valueable items and money . Only did I realize that wealth and money do not make you laugh when you are down. Neither do they make you tell funny jokes to you.

This quote and this significant time in my life are as I believe connected. I believe that this quote and the significant time in my life when I betrayed a friend are connected because it both has to do with doing something negative to a friend. For example, in the quote it states that if you have two friends it's best to just do nothing while if your coming up with the same situation with two strangers, why would you care to upset one stranger, it's the first time you've seen him and on the other hand the other stranger in which you helped would become your friend.

In my situation, a few years ago during my elementary school years, My good friend started to pay me $1 per hour to train on his World of Warcraft account. I accecpted only to realize that after a few days of helping him I got so addicted into the game but since his account was so good I came up with this dumb ideal of jacking his account and stuff and I thought over and over about it. He was a good friend of course but at that moment I was so addicted so I jacked his account. The next morning Mike came up to me and asked why his password was changed and why he couldn't get into his World of Warcraft account.

I replied that I had keyloggers on my computer and it stole his password. He of course knew I was lieing so from that point he ignored me and about a month later I moved and we never saw each other again.
