O.k. Dudes Listen Up.....
First of all I want to clarify what I mean by a "real woman". I am 44 years old, still cute and able to turn men's heads. I'm very much a girl at heart but I have the maturity and wisdom to offer this advice to you guys. I have been around all sorts of men and I've heard their dating woes. Having read a lot about dating and having participated in online dating myself, I believe my advice will be of value to you. This one is for the men out there who are unclear about the do's and dont's of dating . Hang onto your socks dudes because you are in for a few surprises.
I want to make it clear that I have nothing to gain by telling you this. I am not a "life coach" or "self help guru", I just see guys making mistakes in the dating world that could easily be corrected if they only had the right information. Here are the ABC's of dating that you guys need to know to get the women you are looking for.
Where To Start
There are so many places you can meet women but lets talk about a very popular place to meet singles these days, the internet. Some of you might be intimidated by putting yourself on the net but it's like anything else, once you calm your fears you'll see that it's a very useful tool. And men like tools right? Like anything new it just takes time to get used to it. So get over yourself.
Choosing A Site
The best way to go about finding a good dating site is to do an internet search. There are alot of dating sites on the net but there are only a few sites that have a large client base. The busiest sites are the ones you want to go to.This way there will be a greater variety of women to meet and choose from. If you are still unsure of the sites to go to , pay attention to banner ads on other sites, on buses, on the radio or on t.v. Check these ones out and if you like them sign up. Also be aware of sites that are ethnicity or age specific to help you narrow down your search.
Your Picture and Profile
This is where a lot of guys fail miserably. Pay close attention and take notes.
DO NOT put pictures on your profile that fall into the following categories:
You look drunk or you look like you just got out of bed.(this says you have no self respect)
You aren't smiling.(it will make you look mean or moody)
You are trying to look macho with your foot up on the sofa or on your car.(this makes you just look dumb)
You dont have a shirt on. (no matter how "ripped" you are it makes you look shallow and immature)
You have a beer in your hand and you're doing the "lets rock" sign.(again, shallow and immature)
You have women draped all over you. (this only appeals to other men).
You haven't shaven in 3 days and you aren't pulling off that cool-miami-vice-thing.(no self respect again)
You have an "Im not very bright" look on your face.(try to look a little bit intelligent)
You look like you don't smell very nice.(who wants to be near this guy)
You have kids in the picture. (even though it's good to let people know you have kids, your kids are not being dated, you are).
Your photo makes you look mysterious because of weird lighting. (you just look like a serial killer)
You may think that you are special and that a truly good woman will see past all your physical attributes to the good person inside. NOT TRUE! All men and women are visual creatures when it comes to dating. You must look sane, clean, friendly and mature if you want to attract quality women. Sure, there are lots of screwed up women who might come your way but that's not what you want. What you project into the world is what comes back to you. If you are uncertain about your appearance, ask a friend. They don't need to know that you are on a dating site, just get an opinion about your clothes, your hair and your overall appearance.
Your Profile
This is another area that men sometimes fail in. It all starts with your online name. Not your real name but the one you use at the top of your profile.
