Texting
Get a grip, girl! It's just SMS. What you should be worried about is what was in the text. Was it a plan for a secret rendezvous or just hi, hello, nothing? That's not an excuse to go snooping into his cell phone, mind you, but one text too often may raise alarm bells.
Talking
You're not the only girl in the universe, you know. Believe it or not, guys often have perfectly legitimate reasons to talk to other girls. On the other hand, if he's talking to another girl, and he completely forgets you're there, prepare to raise hell.
Flirting
Some guys, just like some girls, are incorrigible flirts. Flirting is like walking on razor's edge. On one side, it's harmless; on the other, it's a road to damnation. If your guy is smart, he'll avoid flirting.
Being Friends
It might be a good idea to be wary of his "girl" friends, but not always. Harmless friends include cousins, old high school buddies, and childhood friends. (The longer he's known them, the better.) Brazen hussies you should be wary of include ex-girlfriends, drinking buddies, and that girl who calls him up at 3 a.m. just to talk...
Sweetness
This is fairly simple. There are times when affection is appropriate and times when they're just wrong. Beso-beso is A-okay. An affectionate hug for an old friend who needs one is fine. Constant contact can't be right. Grinding on the dance floor is just plain wrong.
