Don't Let People Change Who You Are

I have been down that road before. It's not very pleasant.

Don't ever let someone tell you that you can't do something because you aren't good enough for it.

I've had a dream that my ex-girlfriend crashed. I always wanted to be a dirt bike racer, but I was riding my dirt bike one day and my girl friend said that if she ever caught me on a dirt bike again she wouldn't go out with me. So stupid I didn't ride dirt bikes anymore because I really liked her.

But she was free to go riding dirt bikes she would ride mine and crash and have me fix it for her. But when I fixed it she would take it back out and crash again. She would blow top ends, she would try to get going in 4th gear. And god forbid you try to tell her how to do something the right way.

Well one day her friend was talking to me and she was telling me that my girlfriend was testing me to see if I would listen to her. Then she said that I was able to ride my dirt bikes because she didn't really mean I couldn't ride them. So that night I went riding and my girl friend showed up and I was riding around. Well she jumped out of that car faster then I could think.

She started to scream and me, in the end we broke up but let me tell you guys something there isn't a day that I think maybe I should still be with her. My life has never been better. Then I finally thought well she was just trying to control me.

Well every man or women that have a partner like that think for a minute is that person trying to make me something that I am not? And if your answer is yes well sit down with the other person and talk. You know tell them that you want to be who you are. If they don't go out with you after that maybe he/she isn't the right on for you.
