Dream Wedding

A description of a romantic fantasy wedding.

I want a wedding too, I want a wedding outside at night with little garden lights lighting the path and a bouquet of those pretty flowers that open and bloom at night. Those same flowers will adorn the trellous where the priest will be.

My friends come down the asile to the pachebel cannon in night blue dresses with silver sparkles going down the sides. and then its me, on the arms of both my mom and my dad. There they are, my dad smiling slightly in the dimness and tears glistening in my mother's eyes.

And there HE is, standing up there in his tux between his best man and a groomsman. His face breaks into a wide smile when he sees me. His cheeks are crinkley and his eyes are sparkly. When I get to him my parents each giving me a kiss on the cheek give me away and he takes both my hands in his, mouthing the words "youre beautiful" when I catch his gaze. We say our own vows grinning into each others faces. When he puts on my ring he brings his lips to my hand. He is someone I simply can't breathe without the presence of, someone I need, and love with everything I have. He is my best friend, my cheerleader, my confidant, he is everything Ive ever wanted, or will ever want again.
When he kisses me, he takes my face gently in both his hands and does it slowly. I know people are cheering and clapping but in that moment its just he and I and I can't hear them.

During the procession we jog down the aisle together, gripping hands and laughing breathlessly.

We go for pictures at night and make our memories under the stars.
When we enter the hall decorated in candle light and flowers, they introduce us and I hear my new name. I nudge you and smile. We have a buffet of food, nothing fancy, just some of our old faves. Once people are settled with their food, the kissing starts. People have to show us how they want us to kiss and we do it. We have fun with this, laughing as we play along. Pretty soon a slideshow with music starts and memories as our lives and time together flash before us making him turn to me and smile. "I love you," I whisper. People say speeches about us, speeches about funny times and old memories that make us throw back our heads and laugh. Serious speeches about how they always knew Id find him or how he's made to be mine.

When the music of our first dance begins he leads me to the dance floor and pulling me close to him. he says wow with a small chuckle. "Yeah wow, I agree losing myself in his gaze. Its happening again, everyone else in the room is becoming all hazy and melty.
The next dance is with my dad. He's quiet and serious. "Having fun?"....hes dad. I can see him and his mother next to me dancing closely him nodding as she talks. I smile up at my dad, and am kind of happy for his silence.

Later we feed each other wedding cake and he playfully removes my garter. I toss the bouquet and my sister catches it, smiling over at her boyfriend in the crowd. We dance and have fun and soon its time for us to leave. on our honeymoon. people giggle and whisper at us as we wave goodbye. We both know what they're giggling about. he turns to me and dips me backwards for a kiss to the delight of the crowd before we disapear into the night.
When we get home he stops and chuckles dubiously as he scoops my shrieking self up wedding garb and all and carries me over the threshold.
