If you have given up on finding romance, I would not despair. There are so many students who do and there are so many who wait until the term ends when they can take dating a little more seriously. Dating is sometimes just a fling for some and serious for others. Some people like to be uncommitted and come across as they are. It would be wise to pick up signals of that before you get involved in both mind and spirit. What do people look for in a date? It helps to find some stability in the person you want to meet. Having the ability to choose is better than choosing out of obligation. That would not make for a healthy relationship in my opinion.
