How Do You Keep The Music Playing?

It's always easy to jump into a relationship. The problem always lies on how to maintain the fun and romance, how long will it last, how to keep the excitement, how to keep the love growing instead of fading. Do you have any brilliant advice on this?

I'm in love, i'm sure.
He loves me, he's sure.
We should be jumping with joy!
But why are my worries?
Maybe coz of love stories i know of?
I don't have to look very far ....
My stories for example - i blew them all up (ok, it's meh! just sparing the Xs from blame, am i not kind to animals? hehe).
My bf's past relationships, they all failed (should i be thankful? hehe).
Love relationships are simply P.I.T.A. (Pain In The Ass).

In example:
-  My bestfriend's marriage sucks (minimum of one major fight a month, whew!)
-  My other best friend gave her all and after a 5-year intense relationship got dumped for a hooker
-  My aunt's marriage is crumbling (too much insecurities? Complicated? Or simply weird?)
-  My colleagues' husbands fool around (ever satiating their male chauvinistic egos)
-  Some of my female acquaintances fool around too (to get even with philandering bfs?  or just to prove that they can do what men can do?)
-  My ex-employee who's close to me is getting married but not coz of love (just to save enough money to file for annulment/divorce later? i offered her my free consultation service if it ever happens, hehe)
-  One of my staff married for money (does it follow that love develops thereafter?)
-  My battered friend stays coz of children (yeah, right)
- My beloved cousin and her bestfriend, without having a hint, had been toyed by a wicked man posting double, making the two girls love one and the same person - The evil him (isn't love so powerful it can make intelligent persons turn into lovestruck dum-dums?)
- My very own and one and only father is a certified womanizer (add "hopeless", urgh!)
-  My brother-friend married for social status (umph!)
-  My dentist friend was fooled by her kiss-and-tell bf (i wonder what guys benefit from bragging about their intimate moments describing every detail of their sex act with their partner.  will it make their member bigger or longer?  will it improve their image inspite their ugly face or bald head?  why don't they just shift career as X-rated movie actors so the whole world may see what they can do in bed?)
-  My email friend married a woman he knew for 10 years after living in with her for 2 years.  after a month they got divorced (must have ignored the gory signs?  real scaryyyy!)

So i ask ...
Are relationships failing because they were entered into for the wrong reasons?
Or just because the persons involved are simply not the right pair?
Or maybe because they invested too much too soon?
What does a relationship need to last and succeed?
I know some basic ingredients:
CHEMISTRY, LOVE, RESPECT, TRUST, FIDELITY, PATIENCE, TIME.
But are these sufficient?  Or is the key the so-called divine intervention?  Encantation?  Prayers? =)

Oh boy, my crumby brains are gasping for answers .... Better stop Ni, before the thin thread of your scanty sanity breaks, hehe.

Hmm... maybe i should just sit down prettily, continue loving my Zi as he loves me more(?), and let love worry for itself!  Basta ako, magsu-swimming sa Mazatlan beach (at magpa-panty ng pink!!!) Haha! (As for me, I'll just go swimming at Mazatlan Beach wearing pink panties!!!) Haha!
