First dates aren't easy, after all, the pressure is on to make that good first impression. Over 75% of all first dates consist on eating at least one meal. The question is, how much should you spend on a first date?
The entire first date should not cost you more then one hundred dollars. If you spend more then that, you could leave the wrong impression, like your made out of money. If your date likes you, then they should like you for you, not for your bank account.
A hundred dollars will provide the two of you with a nice meal, a couple glasses of wine, and tickets to a movie. If your looking to spend more time with your date, try going for a nice walk on the beach, or a stroll though the park, after all these are free.
You should never go to cheap on a first date either. I'm sorry, but a fast food joint isn't very romantic. If your short on cash try inviting your date out for coffee instead. There is several nice places to have coffee these days, and it's more affordable. Besides, coffee and conversation can lead to a wonderful friendship, if nothing else.
Avoid taking you date to shady places, like biker bars. There's nothing wrong with them, but there a bit rowdy for chit chat. Bowling alleys are another bad idea, forget anything that has to do with any kind of sport, unless your date suggest it, and you also enjoy it.
Try sticking with the regular first date stuff like going to see a movie, sharing a bottle of wine, roses, sunsets, etc... They have all been around for years, and there's a reason for that, they work.
