Where Are the Men?
Ladies, is dating really that hard? You are surrounded by men. Everywhere you look there's a man: at the gas station, the gym, the restaurant, the store, the car next to you at the stop light. So what's so hard hooking up with them? Often times women come up with all these excuses: "All the good men are taken," "Men are dogs," "Men aren't attracted to me." Are men the problem or are you the problem?
Change Your Thoughts
You have to change your mindset about men, ladies. You must learn to love men. Not just good looking men - all men. You have to love old men, young men, small men, short men, tall men, fat men, skinny men. Men are irresistibly imperfect and full of contradictions. You have to love that about them. Most of them are dying to become part of the mysterious woman's world. And you have that power to draw them in. Let's begin to look at how to use your power.
Smile
Here's a typical scene. You're standing in line at the supermarket. There is a man in line next to you. Forget about his physical characteristics for a moment. You know hardly anything about this man except that maybe he likes eggs and orange juice or whatever it is that he is purchasing. So what do you? Do you let this moment of meeting him pass you by or do smile and say something pleasant to him? Most women I know would do the latter. Either they would not pay attention to the fact that he is there, or they would wait for him to say something to them. You're letting an opportunity pass you by if you that.
Smile and say "hello." More than likely he will light up and say "hello" back. Notice what he is purchasing and make small talk. "Is that brand of orange juice good?" Or, "Have you tried brand X?" Ask simple, non-threatening questions. He's just a man, he won't bite. Men are dying to meet, fun, friendly women. So be fun and friendly. Let your intention be to add a little extra sun-shine to his day. You may not walk away with his phone number and that is perfectly fine. You want to walk away knowing that in some way, no matter how small; you made his day a little bit better. Guess what. Nine times out of ten, he will appreciate you for it. And if you have really left an impression on him, he will want to know a little bit more about you.
The key to meeting men and allowing men to notice you in a good way is to be a genuinely friendly and happy woman. Smile and say "hello" to everyone you meet, not just men. Smile to women, men, children, dogs, cats -everybody. Don't touch them, just smile and acknowledge them. Have fun wherever you go. Ladies, when you do this you radiate warmth and exert a positive energy that is so powerful people will naturally be attracted to you. But it has to be real. People can sense phonies in a heartbeat.
Body Language
Oh and ladies, I would remiss to not mention one of the most powerful tools in attracting people, specifically men - body language. As sensuality expert Patty Contenta would say, the way that you move and carry yourself speaks volumes about who you are. Walk from the hips as you stand erect with your shoulders back. Let your hips do the work as they carry you from point A to point B. It's not corny, it's feminine. Walk smoothly, sensually and non- threateningly. How you stand is also very important. You can give your body an instant hour glass figure by standing in what's called third position. Take the heel of your left foot and position it within the curve of your right foot. Your legs should be nice and tight. Then kind of sink into your left hip a little and allow your right knee to slightly bend. Voila! You have an instant hour glass figure - sexy and sensual.
The Right Look
I'm sure even Patty Novak would agree with me when I say that when attempting to attract men, you must dress for success. Dress in clothes that are flattering to you and make you feel sensual. This does not mean overly tight clothes with body parts spilling out. Flattering is the key word. Your clothes should look good and feel comfortable. Don't wear something that restricts you from moving comfortably. Look in fashion magazines for what's current and in style. When shopping, get the opinion of some of you reliable girl friends or fashion-savvy gay guy friends.
Now Go For It
When you put it all together - the smile, the walk, the clothes, you will be so amazed at how easy it is to attract and meet men. They will instantly sense this aura about you and want to know more about you. There are plenty of wonderful men out there. So what are you waiting for?
