Your parents have to be very relaxed.

Write ideas and points that you want to touch in a paper. Then complete the ideas with important details and search a lot of information to have more arguments.
Be honest showing your true feelings
This point is very important. If you talk with the true there are a 99% of possibilities that your parents will understand you and will help you with what you want.
