Everybody is looking for someone and everybody wants something. Sometimes, what is found is not want they were looking to get. The problem with most of us is that we did not put the matter before the Lord and test His faithfulness.
The synopsis is that married people from time to time wants to be single and single people from time to time wants to be married. The problem lies with whatever state you are in at the moment. The ideal state for every situation is contentment. Contentment comes from the Lord. It is God who makes our life complete. You will find what you are seeking when you have a rightful relationship with God. The state of contentment is purpose, hope, reason, and faith in God. There are principles for a happy and holy life. Put your life in the hands of God.
The role of a single person is to be a single brother or a sister, one who cares if you are single. Do not put your life on hold while you are single. You should go out and enjoy a time of laughter with your group. This the way you will find someone who is interested in you. At the same time, do not be a dependent person hanging on to others, who cannot do life without having others to hang on to. Your heavenly Father is not pleased either if you are bent in serving only yourself. You will miss out on what God has for you.
If you want someone special, I hope you become someone special to God. Your relationship with others is the bridge to Christ. God is interested in whom you choose to marry because He loves you a great deal. He wants you to be happy. Do not go outside the body of Christ for that special person. That someone special should also be a believer. The Spirit of God is wooing and cooing someone to be your bride or husband. Remember, every great gift is from God. A marriage partner is a blessing from God only if you allow Him to choose for you.
God wants to be involved in your life. Pray for your mate before it happens. You should know what you are looking for and establish that before your prayer. Make a list of the criteria and that list should involve God. The criteria should include someone who will support your calling. You will know when it is from God. Ask God to prepare that special person before the relationship exists.
Find someone who you can share life with. The man and woman should share together spiritually, as the spirit of man or woman affects each other. Learn more about each other families, sports, and hobbies as the relationship grows. Keep on praying and open your heart to receive that special one.
Life is about working and living together with others. Get out of your bitterness and begin to love. Love is an eternal gift from God. The Bible states one who finds a wife, finds a good thing. Amen.
