The Five Facets of Feminine Love

What do we, males, see in women, now and ever? I uncover here five facets of feminine love. Find out.

At one time or another we all, males, go shopping for a mate. I sometimes wonder what we see in women. We must have been always seeing something great, otherwise our race would be extinct today.

I put myself into an analytical mood today and uncovered the five facets I see in women, love wise. You, the reader, tell me what you think.

The first thing that women mean for men is sex. This is the easiest one. Men have a strong drive to have sex with women and that establishes the base of this first facet of feminine love.

What is interesting here is that women are no less receptive to having sex with men, but put more requirements into it. Because sex leads to reproduction, and its women who have to bear children, women also need to make sure that their potential partners are serious and are there for the long haul.

The second thing that men see in women is reproduction. Women can provide men with a prole.

It’s interesting that, if it’s sex that keeps a couple together, it’s the children that demand that togetherness. That’s why so many couples separate after their children live home. And this because the partners then go after fun, rather than commitment.

The third thing that men see in women is affection. For the ones that need it, women can provide affection.

Affection is such a basic need that, apparently, nobody can go without it. We get affection from our parents when we are little and we go on to get affection from our lovers when we grow up. So, women with a big heart are always in demand.

The fourth thing men see in women is companionship. With regards to this, it’s funny to consider that, for women, companionship is more important than sex, while for men it’s the other way around. No wonder we never get into an understanding.

Finally, the fifth thing that a man looks for in a woman is inspiration. For some men, like me, inspiration is everything. But there are not many women that could inspire them. So this kind of men, being all-or-nothing, tend to be loners.

Where does the inspiration come from, though? It could be from physical beauty or kindness or even intelligence. For me, though, it’s from nobleness of character. A noble woman for me is everything and I wish I could live with her in a medieval castle, bathed by the orange glow of the sunset, forever.
