Others say that it's your other half. If you find your soul mate you will be complete. The spaces in your life will be filled. Some also say that it is somebody you want to share your life with, have a future together, share anything and everything. Have a deeper understanding that even without saying a word he/she knows what you mean. Can finish each others sentences. Knows what you're thinking. Have the same thoughts. Can feel each others presence even though time and distance separates the two of you. The one who can always find you whenever you are lost. Feels what you feel. Knows all of you. With just one glance you can feel the connection.
Others often believe that your soulmate is your partner in life. The love of your life. The one you want to marry and have a future with. The one that is perfect for you. but does anyone wonder that your soulmate maybe anybody? Your bestfriend, your barkada, your childhood friend, your lunch buddy, buddy at work your neighbor maybe just someone who just passed by.
I believe that your soulmate may not necessarily mean the love of your life, someone you will marry. A soulmate is the one you can share your life with, laugh, cry, smile, crack a joke even a corny one, watch a movie even though everyone thinks that its a bad movie. Someone who understands your mood swings. And still stays event hough you said cruel things to each other. Who knows what you feel and feel it twice. And though you don't say anything, he/she knows you need someone to lean on. Someone who will always find a way to reach you when you are lost in a crowded place. Someone who will do anything just to see you smile, even though it will make him/her silly. The one where you can just stay on each others side all day, just sitting, talking or not even say a word. the one at the end of the day you want to talk, share all the things that happened on that day. The one who will make you feel secure that you will never be alone in life. The one you want to be a part of your life forever.
So don't get caught up of finding your soulmate. In fact you might have him/her now you just don't know where and what to look. me I've already found my soulmate.. An amazingly extraordinary person I just met a few years back, my best friend and I'm glad it was her.
I guess this may or may not change the way you think and see the word soulmate. But all that counts is when you found him/her, and you feel that connection don't ever let that time passed by... so good luck on you search. Because me I'm happy I found somebody that will be a part of my life forever. I found my soulmate.
