What Women & Men Say and What They Really Mean

We never say what we truly feel and/or mean.

Woman - “I have a headache”
Real Meaning - I'm either mad at you or I don't want to be bothered or touched at the moment.
Woman - “I'm on my period”
Real Meaning - I don't want to be touched at the moment.
Man - “I love you, but I'm not ready to be with you right now”
Real Meaning - I would much rather sleep around then be committed at the moment.
Man - “I miss you”
Real Meaning - I miss you and I want attention. Where are you?
Woman - “I'm okay”
Real Meaning - I'm not okay and I want you to stick around long enough to figure out what's wrong.
Man - “I know where I'm going”
Real Meaning - I'm lost and I'm too proud to stop and ask for directions.
Man - “I think we need a break from one other”
Real Meaning #1 - You are suffocating me and I want to be by myself.
Real Meaning #2 - I want to explore my options and see what else is out there.
Woman- “Do I look fat?”
Real Meaning #1 - I want reassurance as to how good I look in this outfit.
Real Meaning #2 - I'm insecure about how I look and need reassurance.

Woman - “I'll be finished getting ready in a minute”
Real Meaning - I just started getting ready 2 minutes before you walked in.
Woman - “I'm not upset”
Real Meaning - Of course I'm upset, why do you even have to ask?
Men - “It didn't mean anything, I swear!”
Real Meaning - This is my lame attempt at trying to justify why I cheated.
Woman - “I'll call you sometime”
Real Meaning - I'm just taking your number for the sake of being nice. I don't plan on calling you.
Man - “I'll call you”
Real Meaning - I do plan on calling you , but I will make you wait a few days before I do.
Woman - “Let's just be friends”
Real Meaning - I think you're great guy, but you're not boyfriend material/
Man - “I was working late at the office”
Real Meaning - I was doing something you would definitely not approve of.
Man - “Yes Honey”
Real Meaning - I'm really not listening to you.
Man - “I am listening”
Real Meaning- Of course I'm not listening to you.
Man - “This tastes delicious!”
Real Meaning - This tastes horrible! What's the number for Dominos?
Woman - “I love being single”
Real Meaning -I'm only saying this to mask how lonely I am.
Woman - “I don't need him”
Real Meaning - I can't believe he hurt me like that.
Men & Women - “Yes”
Real Meaning- No
Woman - “Nothing”
Real meaning - You figure it out.
Man - “I was worried about you”
Real Meaning- Don't you know you're suppose to tell me where you're going whenever you leave the house.
Man - “I'll do the laundry honey”
Real Meaning- There's something on my clothes that I don't want you to see.

Hey, what exactly does it mean when a man says, or writes, \"I miss you\" a few times in a letter? I really need to know this. I just don\'t understand, even though it sounds self explanatory.
