Sometimes we are so consumed with our work, career, business and daily chores that we practically left little room (or none at all) to listen to our heart. Let us keep our spiritual life active by constantly communing with God. Hey, I didn't mean you have to pray or supplicate all the time. Just spend 10-15 minutes a day in “quiet reflection” and be receptive to the still voice inside you. You would be amazed how many thoughts will just sprout out of nowhere. How many great ideas will just come around.
That's what I mean by communicating with God. Please don't give me that crap about being so busy. Can't even spare 15 minutes a day? Once you got the hang of it, you'll be spending more time doing it. Why? Because it's so refreshing and relaxing. It's actually a meditation of sort. Before long you are already spending an hour or two, even more and you know what? You'll discover one magical thing. You'll realize your time for work, family and other chores haven't suffered one iota bit.
In fact, it has even improved. Suddenly things are going right, deals and opportunities are falling at your laps, a client whom you've been wooing for months suddenly called you up inquiring and interested, you are meeting the right people at the right time and you begin to meet wonderful, caring and nice friends. You begin to think that some things are just too good to be happening yet it's happening. How can that happen? Don't ask me, I can't answer that either. But I only know one thing. It works and how!
I'm not babbling this out of being philosophical. I'm sharing this from actual 1st hand experiences. But there's a catch to this. If you are expecting dramatic and sensational things to happen, then you'll never see the blessings coming your way and you'll be disappointed.
Actually they are really just everyday occurrences that we almost always take for granted. And because they are everyday occurrences it only means “Hey, it can happen to you and me as well!”. Once you begin to realize that, then you're on the right track already…the connection to the Divine has already began.
