Julie Garwood is one of my favorite writers. From her historical romance novels to her modern day romance it does not matter to me, I have read them all.
Garwood gives you memorable characters, and what I like the best is the women that she writes about. You will not get a wimp in her novels. The women are strong and take charge. They are great. She always shows her heroines overcoming there fears and does not allow them to stop the heroine from doing what needs to be done. All women could be very proud of this.
Her novels are all fast moving plots that are guaranteed to make you keep turning the pages. And once you are done you are ready to pick up another one of her books and continue on. Garwood has several of her books that are continuations from previous books. Those I must say are my favorite. I love to read the next series of any books to learn what has happened to other charaters that she was wrote about.
As far as a favorite one of her books that would be very hard to pick. But if I had to I would say that it was For the Roses. I was either crying or laughing throughout the entire book. Could not put it down until the very end. Even my son (who is 32) enjoyed it immensely.
Julie Garwood has 19 national bestsellers and has more then 32 million books in publication. She is definitely one of the best romance novels today!
