Details of the Characters
Shafi Choudhury - A very friendly boy who likes making friends. He shows respect to everyone but sometimes some people can get annoying that could make him angry at times. He lives only with his mother because his family are not noticed around the area. A family problem might have destroyed the relations with the other family members. They might come much later into the story. He is sometimes scared of Alaur's hard stares and angry looks.
Alaur Rahman - Can be easy going at times but mostly likes being naughty. He loves to create nuisance, get many people, and possibly even get his friends into trouble. He thinks he is a strong lad who everyone will see and be scared. Giving him a beating will actually teach him a lesson. He hardly cares about his mates but at times, his heart is soft.
Shumel Mahmud - A better friend than Alaur but also can get naughty along with Alaur. He hates people that make other friends, which are none of his business, but he likes his friends to have no connection than himself. He is also scared of Alaur but the amount of that is less than of Shafi's.
Asab Uddin - A strong lad who is a friend of Alaur's. He likes helping Shafi, Alaur, Shumel and many others when they are in need. He is permanently friends with Mahmud, Salim, Ahad and Habib.
Mahmud Miah - Another strong lad who likes helping others when they are in need but only if it is someone he knows very well.
Salim Miah - He is very intelligent but not as strong as his friends are. He is less grumpy and angry than his friends.
Ahad Miah - Another strong lad who likes helping others in need. He is dark skinned and intelligent. He is related to Habib because his elder brother had married Habib's sister.
Habib Miah - Another strong and handsome lad who is keen on drawing birds and other lovely objects. Despite the fact that he likes drawing wonderful objects and living things, he can be very dreadful to people. Doesn't respect Shafi and his friends and though his friends like helping Shafi, he has no heart to feel emotional for them at all.
Nazidul Miah - He is similar to Habib. They both will try their best to destroy Shafi and his friends. They at first are normal kids but after a situation, they turn against Shafi and his friends. He is not as light hearted as Habib but he can also get very serious.
